EXTRA ACTIVITIES
Alongside normal afternoon activities, La Garenne Summer Camp also offers students the chance to participate in exclusive outings. By far the most popular is the excursion to Europa Park - the largest theme park in Germany.
We travel by luxury coach arriving in Germany in the early evening ready for some serious fun on roller coasters, rides and at the water park Rulantica.
The two-day trip includes an overnight stay at a resort hotel, entry fees and meals. Students are supervised by our own La Garenne staff.
Places are limited so check the option on your Summer Camp application form to secure your place now. Europa Park is available in 2025.
DIGITAL DETOX
Summer Camp is designed to keep students active, occupied and healthy. For this reason, Minis and Juniors must hand in all devices such as mobiles phones, iPads and tablets on arrival. They can call their parents at set times, twice a week apart from the first Sunday after arrival. Details are in our FAQs.
Our teenagers have more freedom regarding access to their devices, but this is at our discretion. No devices are allowed during private or group classes, mealtimes, activities (unless by prior agreement with camp staff) or after bedtime.
We find that students are much more alert and connected once they learn to detach themselves from their devices. Instead of looking at tiny screens, they are focussed - quite literally - on the bigger picture of our amazing landscape.
