> HOW MANY HOURS DO THE STUDENTS STUDY PER WEEK?
The students study eighteen hours per week from 9.00 to 12.15.
> DO YOU ACCEPT STUDENTS WITH LITTLE OR NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE ENGLISH / FRENCH LANGUAGE?
We welcome children at all levels. We have many levels in French and English, from beginner to advanced levels.
> IS THERE AN ENTRANCE TEST
The students are assessed when they arrive in order to place them in the correct class.
> WHAT ARE THE AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES?
Each day, the students take part in indoor and outdoor sports activities, cultural visits, expeditions, artistic and sports' clubs, excursions and crafts.
> WHAT ARE THE CLASS SIZES ?
The class sizes are between eight and fifteen students.
> WHAT ARE THE NATIONALITIES AT THE SCHOOL ?
The main body of students are from surrounding European countries although we welcome campers from more than 25 countries worldwide. To keep our camp international, we also respect 10% - 15% nationality quota, and limitate number of the same speaking language.
> HOW MUCH POCKET MONEY IS ALLOWED, ARE THE CHILDREN SUPERVISED ?
We advise that the parents give between CHF 30.- and CHF 50.- per week, depending on the age of the child. The children have supervised shopping times. If the parents so desire and send a written authorisation, the children aged from twelve and upwards, may go shopping in small unsupervised groups.
> WHEN CAN I PHONE MY CHILD ?
You can phone or Skype with your child on Wednesdays from 1.30pm to 3.00pm (swiss time) and Sundays from 9.30am to 11.00am. Our Australian and Japanese students may receive calls between 1.00pm and 1.30pm on these days.
> DO YOU MEET STUDENTS AT THE AIRPORT ?
We meet the children travelling by UM (Unaccompanied Minor) or the parents on the official dates between 10am and 4pm. The school transport during the official times is included in the fees. Transport is only for the students.
> IS THERE A SCHOOL UNIFORM ?
All the children are provided with a school uniform. You may download the clothing list here.
