Art is a place for children to trust their ideas, themselves and to explore what is possible.

Plenty of creative work has been happening around Academia this week and as it says above, children are learning through exploration of their ideas.

The Lions have been exploring the geography of our local area and created beautiful landscape pictures of the mountains, using pastels.

The Giraffes read the story of ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ and after retelling the story orally and writing in sentences, they created their own caterpillars!

Ce matin le groupe des marmottes a appris le vocabulaire du corps humain. Les élèves ont ensuite réalisé de drôles de monstres - 3 yeux, 6 bras, 1 jambe.... effrayant!

The Bear Cubs read the story of ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and then played some speaking and listening games, before baking their very own gingerbread men!
