Today, the ‘Cheetahs’ class have been using drama to practise their oral and reading skills. They worked together as a class to act out a story in English, reading from a playscript.

The have also been reading information and finding out about London, using pictures and graphic novels.

The ‘Giraffes’ class have been developing their writing using adjectives and feeling words. They created their own monsters and wrote sentences about their appearance and personalities. The students in this class have also been using special ‘word’ dice to help them create sentences and write them correctly.

The ‘Tigers’ class have also been adding more detail to their writing, using the addition of literary devices, such as adjectives, adverbs, verbs, nouns and prepositions, as well as up levelling to improve sentences using higher order words.
